Perils of the Cobbled Path – dVerse – Cobbled Quadrille Poem

Walking above hidden trenches and valleys

Not noticeable unless you ride a bike or try running in heels.

Love is wonderful, but if you don’t look where you step

Cobbled stones will trip and break you.

So be careful where you guide your heart

  1. Frank Hubeny says:

I can see how cobblestone streets may not be the best for bicycles or high heals.

  2. Raivenne says:

Sigh, love is blind to it’s own cobbled path. Sometimes it’s an easy road to tread. Sometimes you pick yourself up bloodied and worse for wear.

  3. I applaud your creative use of the prompt word. Love is a many-cobbled path. 🙂
